giving this product a second chance, and under the opinion that there have been improvements over an earlier version.
The three year warranty was the deciding factor.

It's a nice sturdy looking joystick but looking is about as far as it goes. There are absolutely no instructions beyond "plug it into a USB port". I've done a number of Google searches for more info and turned up nothing more than a few hits on gaming forums which are 99% full of kids boasting about their high scores.
Very disappointing.

Fellow gamers, true you get what you pay for, and this is a rare instance where it's paid me back. I have used this joystick for programs such as IL-2 and Flight Sim X. It has lasted me for about 5 yrs now, and still runs like a champ. The throttle action is smooth and it still responds like it needs to. Not a bad purchase at all, if you're not looking to spring for all the fancy bells and buttons and just need a good joystick that works.
